Summary of Work Experience

(1980-Present) Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. Perform all phases of counseling and coordination of multiple services for rehabilitation of severely physically and emotionally disabled individuals who are vocationally handicapped, including job development, job restructuring, job placement, and provision of assistive technology. Provide vocational, career, personal growth counseling, pain and stress management training. Provide career planning, and vocational assessments. Consultant to community rehabilitation facilities, business and industry. Vocational expert and consultant to the courts, attorneys, insurance carriers, and government agencies. Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Rehabilitation Technology Consultant.

(1979-80) Coordinating Counselor for the Kentucky Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation for contracted services between the Bureau and Goodwill Industries community workshop. This involved an average of over 400 clients and a budget in excess of $185,000.00 annually.

(1977-79) Senior Rehabilitation Counselor, Public Assistance Project, Kentucky Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation. Performed all phases of rehabilitation counseling with disabled public assistance recipients.
